1. ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS FOR TR VISA

     This type of visa is issued to applicants who are currently residing in Poland or Ukraine and wishing to enter Thailand for tourism purposes only.

     Applicants who wish to enter the Kingdom for medical treatment at hospitals / medical facilities in Thailand may also apply for TR visa under category MT (Medical Tourism).

 

2. TR VISA CONDITIONS   

     2.1 Single Entry Tourist Visa :

Single Entry Tourist Visa will be valid for 3 months from the date of issue. You must enter Thailand within the validity of visa.

However, the permitted length of stay is up to 60 days from the date of arrival in Thailand. Travellers should carefully check the immigration stamps in their passports regarding the exact length of stay to ensure that they do not overstay their visa.

 

 

     2.2 Multiple Entry Tourist Visa :

Multiple Entry Tourist Visa will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue. You must enter Thailand within the validity of visa. 

Travellers with this type of visa will be permitted to stay in Thailand not exceeding 60 days for each entry within the period of 6 months from the date of arrival in Thailand. Please check the immigration stamp in the passport regarding the exact length of stay.

 

3. TR VISA APPLICATION PROCEDURES

    3.1 Single Entry TR Visa, please prepare required documents as follows:

  • Passport/ travel document with validity at least 6 months from the intended date of arrival
    to Thailand.
  • 1 passport size photograph of the applicant, taken within the past six month.
  • Copy of Polish residence card (karta pobytu) or PESEL Number [Polish acronym for „Universal Electronic System for Registration of the Population”] in case of foreigners.
  • Copy of Letter of Confirmation from school/employer/private business
  • Copy of return ticket or ticket reservation (to and out of Thailand).
  • Copy of hotel reservation or other evidence of accommodation reservation (full trip)
  • For applicants with medical appointment in Thailand, letter from the registered hospital in Thailand indicating applicant's name and appointment date.
  • Visa processing fee: 180 PLN (in cash only / non-refundable)

 

    3.2 Multiple Entry TR Visa, please prepare required documents as follows:

  • Passport/travel document with validity at least 6 months from the intended date of arrival
    to Thailand.
  • 1 passport size photograph of the applicant, taken within the past six months.
  • Copy of Polish residence card (karta pobytu) or Ukrainian residence card- in case of foreigners.
  • Copy of return ticket or ticket reservation (to and out of Thailand). At least for the first visit.
  • Copy of hotel reservation or other evidence of accommodation reservation. At least for the first visit.
  • Copy of a bank statement or evidence of adequate finance with a minimum balance of 20,000 PLN for the last 6 months from the account of each applicant (in English language).
  • Letter from applicant ́s Employer verifying his/her employment (in English language). Or extract from Company’s Register with official translation into English in case of selfemployed persons. Or confirmation from school in English in case of students.
  • Visa processing fee750 PLN (in cash only / non-refundable)

Important: 

  • Consular officer reserves the right to request additional documents, or an interview with the
    applicant, as deemed necessary, without prior notice. The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right
    to reject any visa application with insufficient documents or if the reasons given are not fully
    supported.
  • Documents in foreign languages must be officially translated into Thai or English.
  • Please note that it is not possible to apply for the visa via post. All postal applications will be rejected.

 

4. TR VISA PROCESSING TIME

  • Visa processing time will take around 10-15 working days.
  • Certain applications which require special consideration may take longer to process.

 

5. REMARKS

  • Consular officers reserve the right to request additional documents as deemed necessary.
  • Visa processing fee is subject to change without prior notice.
  • Nationals of certain countries are required to apply for a visa only at the Thai Embassy or Consulate-General in their home/residence country or at the designated Thai Embassy.
  • The applicants must provide genuine documents and information. If the applicants provide fraudulent documents or false information, their applications will be rejected and they may be prohibited from entering Thailand in the future.
